I thought of that but the sub doesn't look like it would come apart very easily.

There must be something holding it together but I can't find any screws.
Last thing I want to do it crack it open and have it rattle when I put it back together.

It sounds so kewl right now.

Robotron & Defender rock the house man!

Maybe I could wire up another pot inline...

Thanks Kaytrim, I needed another project!

Just an update to this 'project' since I haven't been here in quite a while.

The CRT burned out years ago and I replaced it with an LCD flat panel display.
Also reduced the angle of the front glass to reduce glare. That actually made a huge difference when standing at the controls.

Opened the CPU case a couple years back and blew out the dust, found lots of that.

Introduced my grand kids to it recently, they help wiggle the slider track fasteners loose. One side has pulled out.
I've got some repair work to do on this. Also getting kinda tired of opening the door to retrieve quarters, thinking of putting in a credit button.

Other than that the old machine is still working fine.

While you have it opened up, put a proper CRT back in there and use the LCD for a door stop.

Great build. Love seeing reminders of what we were doing a decade ago. I’ve got both LCD’s and CRT’s. It’s all good.
