Dartful Dodger:
I haven't been in this part of the website in at least a year.

Of course I look in days after a Chicago post has expiried.

How was the show?

Did you buy anything?
MustardTent:
It was the first show I've been to of this type.  They bill themselves as "the largest show of it's type in the world", but it wasn't that huge.  I don't know if you've been to pheasant run -- it's big, but it's not like McCormick center big.

There were probably 30 arcade machines (about half were multi-play machines -- forgot which vendor it was though), and I would say about 30 pins.  I saw one Addams family, one ST:TNG, and a brand new Star Wars machine with a floating video display overlaid on a section of the playfield.  That was nice, but it was about $6K.  Pins and vids ranged from $600-$6000 in general.

Tons of other stuff: 45's, plenty of fridges, nostalgia items (coke signs and whatnot), street signs, other crap, etc.

I didn't buy anything -- I'm planning on buying a pin someday, and that's mostly why I went -- but I couldn't pull the trigger.
MustardTent:
Next show is November 9th, 10th & 11th - 2007, at Pheasant Run once again.
