You want an Active USB 2.0 cable, not a cheapy regular one. Something like this. These (and powered USB hubs) actively refresh the signal rather than just make the cable longer-I've got a USB device on a 15 foot active extension cable that simply won't work on a regular one past 10 feet. |

yes, if it is plugged into the motherboard, it is getting power, but what I am suggesting, is connect a powered USB hub to the motherboard and then plug the x-arcade into that. that would get you the extra distance, but should give you a better signal. |
