well......

1. i cannot spell or use punctuation im very dumb lol
2. it might be the second model as says now with ocean world on it
3. if you or anyone is willing to help me out that is great
oo and some piccys will be loaded up on here  soon i hope!!!!

now.....

as things go there were a few bulbs in it the 4 player counter of crystals and a counter i found in the base  of the system saying money in money payed out.

im no gineus on these things so as there was no monitor and by the looks of it no board, however there was a little board with different i suppose headers on it, but anyway i riped out carefully most of the wires i didn't need
leaving the speaker wires and the button wires.

ok as in my last post there is a beefy fan on the back board that i would like to get going but am not quite sure how to power it so if anyone here knows how to do that thats great.

got my dad to extract the massive transformer out of it as didn't even want to touch it!!!

and finaly i managed to get the trackball out of the bracket but now find that the screws are all scesed up WD40 doesn't budge them atall grr.

so gtg but will resume this later if anyone is intrested in more info on this thing.
grantspain:
so what exactly do you want to do with this machine?,do you want to restore it or mame it?
the fan on the back is 240mains(but it will state the voltage on it somewhere so always look just in case someone's changed it),to connect it you will see 2 x pins sticking out of one side these are for your neutral and live(don't matter which way round)-make sure you use insulated spade connectors to wire to this otherwise you can solder straight on to these BUT you must use heat shrink so that no metal can be seen, also you will need an earth wire connected on the fan body(there are screw holes in place to do this)

wow quick reply

thank you thank you thank you

i will check now but pressume that maplins do these

so what u are saying is put a blue and brown wire into a spade connector each push them on the pins and put a plug on the end whats the best thing to do with the earth i suppose put that in the plug as well?

thank you guys for all your help

yes im mameing it with crystal maze on a pc with some other great trackball games when i find some? lol
Lutus:
I would agree with Mameing it to a point, which will give you greater number of trackball games.

The reason I was wanting to see some pics was to see the current state of the artwork/cabinet integrity.  Also to see exactly what type of machine it is like grantspain asked to better be able to help you with anything you needed.

not exactly, you should run the wires from a fuse(at about 2amp),i would run the cable from the cab euro socket(mains entry socket)you should find you already have a kettle lead inside the cab,you can connect into that-remember no bare wires and fuse it
