I ran this last year and it went pretty well. Rules are simple. Choose one game each week. Pick the winner. If you are wrong, you are eliminated from the game. Last man standing wins. I will keep track of everyone's picks each week and display them by editing this post.

A pick must be made every week. Failure to make a pick results in elimination. Picks should be posted in this thread, so that people have the ability to double check my work.

You cannot pick a game with the same team two weeks in a row. If you pick the Rams over the Titans in week 2, you cannot use either the Rams game or the Titans game in week 3.

Entrant pool closes an hour preceding the game you want to pick. That means that if you want to pick Thursday's game this week you must do so at least an hour before the game starts. Forum timestamps will be binding.

I saw that they just re-signed St Pierre... not sure if they announced it or where he falls in the QB depth chart. Always good to see him stick around, my brother played with him in HS.

EDIT: NFL.com says Batch is the backup. Where is Kordell now?

Kordell went to the Bears three years ago and continued to be terrible. He is out of the league now.

Batch is the backup this weeka and during both his starts last year he went 2-0. He
doesn't totally suck. Where's Kordell ? hmmmm... who cares, the guy cried on the

I've never laughed as hard at an NFL moment as I did during a game when the commentators were making a huge deal out of Kordell's connection to the fans... as the Steelers were walking into the tunnel at halftime... and a fan reached over the railing, dumped his beer on Stewart, and yelled "retire you <effing> <homo> we suck because of you".

I'm the only one who picked 'em.

And I picked the Seahawks in two other "for-goofs" pools in the fantasy leagues I run! I can't believe the Lions looked as good as they did. I knew they were TONS better than last year, but I figured with a new coach, new system, new just-about-everything-but-the-real-problem Matt Millen, they weren't gonna compete in that game!
