FS [US-CA] Custom built Desktop or fullsize Control Panels
(1/7) > >>
Timoe:
We're back .....Please email us at tmogaming@yahoo.com if you are interested in an order or have any questions

There are many companies that will sell you a pre built arcade control panel or a blank panel that you put your own controls into.

(SlikStik, X-Arcade, etc)

The main differences between these companies and my offer are this:

I do not intend to make a a living off this

I can build you pretty much anything you want

Here's the deal.  I like building control panels but I live in a regular sized house and we dont have room for all sorts of control panels that I wont be using.  I have finished my cabinet and my desktop controller.  I want to build more but I cant keep anymore.  I dont know anyone that would even want this stuff and I dont want to throw stuff away.

This is really an offer for someone who doesnt have tools, lives in an apartment or for whatever reason CAN NOT make their own and want something custom.  Say you like the slikstik panels but you want your trackball flush mounted or you want your panel covered with plexi or who knows what, I'll work with you to make it any way you want. If you want I can wire it up for you or let you do the control installation.  It's up to you.

I do however want to be paid for all supplies, shipping, etc.

I have allready done this once for another BYOAC member that will give me a good reference for quality and customer service.

send us an email at the address above if you are interested and we can set something up.

Wow! I almost wish I wasn't nearly done with my CP now.

I just wanted to say that Timoe built a control panel for me and I cannot give him a higher rating.  The control panel turned out perfect and I was very happy.

It was also pretty inexpensive when comparing to the purchase of a SlikStik CP.

It met my needs as someone who can do all of the computer tweaks required with setting up emulators, etc but I cant woodwork my way out of a paper bag.

Here is the build thread:

Attached is a pic from the thread.

Timoe:
Please note:  I have quite a bit of Yellow and Light Blue T-mold that would be used at no extra charge because I'd like to use it and not just store it.

If ya want to send me another color or whatever, thats up to you.

Nice work Timoe!

If I hadn't already promised the kids we were going to build ours, I would definately consider contracting you...You really make my wiring look ugly...that's not very nice.
