IPac4 - PS2 or USB

I am getting an IPac4, does it make any difference if it is a PS2 or USB??
brophog:
No, not really. Andy claims the USB is capable of being faster, but I run PS/2 on mine and you can definitely tell a significant difference between the ipac's speed and that of a keyboard. I wouldn't hesitate to play any input critical game on it.

Which is faster: Ipac or keyboard?
brophog:
Sorry, ipac.

I went for a PS2 one aswell.

I made my choice after studying the Ultimarc FAQ / Help sheets. It seemed to me that most of the IPAC problems (shouldn't be any of course, but if you're unfortunate enough to find one) were via the USB interface!

My buttons and joystick appear spot-on to me, so the speed is perfectly fine, even if USB is claimed to be theoretically faster...

In answer to your question I'd say probably no difference as far as gaming is concerned, but note though that some newer PC motherboards don't even have PS2 sockets anymore!
