| AMD 3200 still good? |

My first AMD I build was a k6-2 550. It is not running anymore, but out of the 10 or so I have built they have always been AMD BABY!!!! |

I'm just going off the benchmarks in the threads krick linked there, I don't personally have a Core 2 Duo to test with (and if I did, it probably wouldn't be in my MAME cab ;) |

and yet another amd guy... cant beat the price and performance.. only problem i have is that running xp64 i cant get a few of my older programs to run no matter what i do... and they are fine on reg old xp. 3200 is a great chip i have had mine for sometime now and i haven't had to mess with it one little bit, and i must say that its doing a heck of a job with the video card i have in it... |

If you choose one of the MicroATX boards it even has a built-in videochip so all you need is RAM and a power supply (as long as you only wanna run MAME; modern PC games I'd recommend a real video card) |
