Oklahoma Videogame Exhibition (OVGE): 8/19, Tulsa, Oklahoma
« on: August 17, 2006, 10:25:00 am »
Attention all classic video game players! The 4th annual Oklahoma Videogame Exhibition (OVGE) will take place on August 19th, 2006 at the Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma. OVGE is a gathering of collectors, video game enthusiasts, and vendors coming together to show, trade, buy, sell and have an incredible time! If you miss the good ol' days of Atari, Nintendo, Coleco, Sega and more, you will not want to miss this event!

This year's show has more events planned than ever before! There are at least three different tournaments planned throughout the day: OVGE's Classic Tournament (this year's theme: alien invasions!), a Neo-Geo KOF '98 Tournament, and another tournament hosted by Game Crazy. In addition to the tournaments there will also be door prizes awarded throughout the day.

Mustin from the video game remix community and co-founder of OneUp Studios will be present at the OVGE this year! Come by the OneUp Studios booth to meet him and purchase CDs. He'll be performing various video game music throughout the day and featuring other video game music performers as well.

Sponsors of this year's show include Game-X-Change, Videogame Collector, Digital Press, Vintage Stock, Atari Age and Messiah. There will be tons of games available for hands on play and thousands of games both new and old for sale. This is a family-friendly event you do not want to miss!!!

As always there will be a certain amount of coin-ops available for play and for sale. Coin-Op sellers can set up games to sell for free if they have them powered on and available for the public to play during the show.

See you August 19th!
