i just got this, it's a 3in1 jamma board that allow you to play 3 jamma pcb in one cab. and the best is, to change between games you need to use a mini remote control

the black wire that you see on the pcb, is the antena for the receiver.
it work perfectly, i tried last night.

anybody as see this before ?

the label on the remote and pcb say, "tnd 3in1 jamma"

i contact the seller, and he as no clue where this come from...

well it's mine now

That looks pretty cool - congrats.

It looks like that powers one board at a time, which I am starting to think is a good idea, at least for some games (like 2 of the 3 I have in my MultiJamma cab!).

Let us know how it works out ... and if you can find any more.

damn, thats a great idea! first i thought you meant it was a 3 in 1 game pcb! i mignt have to get a third pcb and make a cab for my lil collection (",)

That kinda reminds me of those deals the bars used to hide gambling type machines with a regular game in atrract mode.
They'd use the remote to switch back and forth from the counter if someone wanted to play the "forbidden" games.

Never saw one that had three slots though. (?)
I'm sure that's totally irrelevant to the one you have though.

Cool relay switching idea though !!
I posted on RGVAC to see if anyone there recognized it also.

that true, usually they're 2in1. one of the game is forbidden game, i meet few people here in miami used that on video poker machine.

Got the word over on rgvac from a fella that probably actually ordered and owned that particular one. He mentioned the blue jumper wire specifically. He says these came from somewhere out in Asia. (he never did specify the TND company) He also said the remote control portion could be programed to most any generic remote.
Apparently they are popular over there because of the whole forbidden gambling thing in some areas. So a couple of us were on the right track about them, but still not sure why they would have had three slots just for that particular application. But then again, from the looks of the layout, you could concievably have as many slots as you want.

Simple, yet very effective.
It'd be cool if you (arcadefever) could document each component for us to play around with building something similar. Doesn't seem like all that much to it. But I really like the relay switching idea.

You are going to run into problems using that thing with multilayer boardsets, unless you make some extensions or something.

Yes if you could......

At a minimum the relay information. I'm assuming all they are doing is relaying the power supply to each board. It looks like all those zener diodes are to keep things from feeding back into each board when the others are "on". Just a nifty little idea to play with even if it's not remote controlled. Just a simple push button controlled switcher similar to that would be cool.
There just seems to be very little as far as electronics on there. Couldn't be all that hard to duplicate something similar. (maybe not on a sweet pcb like that, but still)
