I'm pretty sure you would be screwed if you bought that, I don't think the Ultracade games work unless they are in an actual Ultracade. |

It looks like they use three keys for activating the software. One for the ultracade system, one for the disc and the one that activates it derived from the combination of the two. |

I don't think you're even talking about the ultracde version, that one would be a lot more $$$. The Arcade Legends upgrade is the one that you're talking about, and those aren't for commercial use. also, I'm pretty sure Ultracade / Arcade legends are built on some kind of *nix, so no chance of working on windows. possible you could extract the mpegs, which i never really saw the point of unless your conscience can't handle buying the dvd or pc version as a justification for downloading the mpegs... -d |

Did I mention I saw a poor Sega Naomi that had been assimilated by Ultracade ? Strange because I haven't seen any "kits" on sale for this, but the marquee and stuff all fit perfectly. For some reason, this was the least played cab in the arcade...... But I guess it's because of the really low quality list of games it featured. Only Bomb Jack appealed to me......but I could resist :D |

If you really like Dragons Lair pick up Digital Leasures 20th Anniversry DVD set and then visit the laser disc emulation site Daphne to learn how to break it down and play using their emulator. Its as close as you can get to playing the real disc. http://www.daphne-emu.com/site3/ |
