The thing with painter's tape is...you don't leave it on there. You put it on, paint, and then remove it while the paint is still wet. Common misconception is that you leave it in place until the paint dries. Simply not true. |

Now you tell me :) Anyway, I did some sanding and some painting today. I used Rustoleum Textured Black on the doors. Here are the results: Apparently a drop of paint landed on the bottom door (you can see it in the bottom middle): I didn't like how that looked so I sanded the door down and painted it again. Here's pics of the front. The area around where the doors go is indented. You won't see that line once the doors are mounted. I got to thank you guys and RetroBlast for the help... |

Just curious if you've tested the paint at all to see how well it stands up to minor abuses? That was the main reason I chose the Appliance Enamel paint, figured that stuff would be plenty tough for this application. |
