Routers, cheap=junk ?
Maverick:
I wouldn't trust a router that cheap unless I got a namebrand at yard sale. Anything with a bit that's razor sharp moving at 22,000 rpm, you want to be well constructed. Just my 2 cents.

Mmm, I think good points are made on "both sides"......doubting even more.
Just like Miles2912 says, I only will be using it for one (mini) cab and maybe one CP....
Not a daily working tool. But on the other hand Maverick has a good point too...
I couldn't find a picture on the internet of the one I'm talking about (Budget BER10205) but this looks EXACTLY like it (except other color):

Looks EXACTLY like the cheapest Harbor Freight router I could find on their site:

So yes, we are talking the same device here...
Maverick:
You can always rent it at Home Depot or a local rental place. Try your local pawn shops for deals if you need to buy one.

That's because those guys are woodworking professionals/hobbyists who buy tools with the intent of having them last through years, if not decades of heavy use. For as little as you'll likely use the router, a cheapo one should be fine, just makes sure you understand everything it can (and, more importantly, can't) do before you start using it. Definately a situation where you should RTFM, if only to save your fingers.

I am one of those WW forum guys, and I own several HF power tools. To be clear, what I was saying was that among folks that have used the HF router and reported back, they indicate that it is not a good HF level tool.
None of HFs tools can be compared to bosch or PC... This tool is not even on a good quality scale at the HF level.
NightGod:
Ahh, gotcha.
I just found a friend that had a router and borrowed it from him-definately an option worth investigating.
