--- Quote from: Jakobud on March 13, 2003, 01:15:14 am ---When my buddy was playing Donkey Kong on my cabinet he was trying to do this trick on the second level where you stand right next to DK really close and jump up and down and it's suppose to give you points because you are taunting him or something. Anyways he couldn't get it to work. --- End quote --- The way that one works is you stand next to the donkey and jump then while your guy is in the air you press the joystick away from the donkey. You have to be inside the pipe and it will give you 100 points every time. You actually get more points that way then you do for bonus so I usually try to leave the rivet at the top and do this until my bonus is down to 100 then get the last riviet. J_K_M_A_N |

For joust, it's the red-label version. I have done this trick many times and it works. Anyone remember the magazine joystik? They used to have great articles about the games and then a section called 'Tricks of the Trade' which would discuss hidden tricks in games. Some of the magazines have been scanned are available here http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Joystik-Magazines/ Rick |
