Just did a writeup on converting Happ Shifter from single button to dual

That's cool, and I guess for the great cost savings in doing the mod, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have to at worst occasionally tighten the bolt, and it isn't like it is going to be under the abusive circumstances that an actual cab on route would have to endure.

I was actually looking at the shifter right now to see what you are saying. if you notice when the stick is pushed left or right (up or down) it is actually pushing against the bolt that is holding the spring guide block in place. so I dont see how anything can move and even if the bolt was to loosen the pressure of the springs would hold it in place. Maybe Im thinking wrong. But I actually loosened the bolts a tad the ones that go through the unit and moved the stick lup and down from high to low and nothing moved. so I dont think it will be a problem for anyone. thanks for the tips though!
