Remember folks, the PSOne is essentially the same hardware as the Sony ZN series of arcade hardware. Plenty of folks struggle to get ZN games running at full speed in MAME. Of course there's ZiNc, but why not just chuck a PSOne in a cabinet? Arcade systems based on Sony Playstation Hardware (Including Capcom ZN and Namco System 11 to mention just 2): http://www.system16.com/base.php#1 And just SOME of the games: Battle Arena Toshinden 1, 2 Tekken 1, 2, 3 Soul Edge Point Blank 1, 2, 3, Star Gladiator Rival Schools Street Fighter EX Mr Driller DDR / Bemani Raystorm/Ray Crisis Bloody Roar Xevious 3D etc, etc. Definite must-haves. |

PSOne: Spyro the Dragon Crash Bandicoot (all of 'em) Rayman Ape Escape (MONKEYS! YAY! ;D) |

I was just given a boxed Dreamcast by a buddy. I want this to share a vertical MAME cab with the PC. Anyone have a list of all the Dreamcast shooters that support being spun vertcally? |

I imagine through ebay I can get a pretty solid collection. Any suggestions? --- End quote --- There is truly one game that makes the DC worth owning - :notworthy: FirePro Wrestling D. Now, if you're only into wrestling a little or just like fighing games in general, you'll still get off on this title. However, if you're WAY into wrestling or were back in the "Golden Age" of pro wrestling in the 80's, THIS title will likely be one of your favorite games of all time. It is mine! It comes with tons of premade wrestlers, but you can create your own. And not JUST how they look, but what moves they do and how frequently, how often they'll go for the pin, go outside the ring, climb the corners, etc. Only thing this game is missing is manager interference! >:D There is one major drawback to FirePro D, however. Nearly all of the game is in Japanese. There are many translation pages out there. I used one of them to guide me through when I was learning the game and, in no time, I was making my own wrestlers and setting up tourneys, etc. TREMENDOUS GAME and, like I said, the most compelling reason to own a Dreamcast, hands down. |
