Looking for a copy of Mame_no_warn
siropa:
my 4 year old learned how to deal with those OK screens in no time. if you do it as buttons, they will learn it easily.

I'm not saying a 4 year old can't do it, but why have them do it if you don't have to. If your interested, a friend of mine compiled a version of mame for me that removes all the OK screens. It goes straight into the game.
Maybe it's not necessary for you, but I wanted to make my cabinet as user friendly as possible.

Dude... Go download BuddaMAME. It has the option to turn off all the nag screens, and its current.

Correct me if I am wrong..but don't frontends like GameEx have options to bypass these? I thought I've seen the option before.

You don't have to compile anything. Just open the Configuration file for MAME and change the following to read as such:
--- Code: ---frames_to_run 1
skip_disclaimer 1
skip_gameinfo 1
--- End code ---
By default they are set to "0". Changing them to "1" gets rid of those nasty warnings.
