pc monitor for supergun

I have 2 monitors and i'm trying to figure out if I can use either one for jamma testing. One is an:
IBM E74 :
Horizontal frequency (kHz): 30 - 69
Vertical frequency (Hz): 50 - 120

the other is an
HP M40
Line (horizontal) frequency  30

if you try a med res game on 15k you will get two rolling pictures-but i disagree with many on this forum who claim this will damage your monitor,i have done this many times without problems

What will it look like on a high res monitor like the ones i have. (or will it work at all?)
I'm not too concerned with the monitors i have, i just dont wanna start a fire or somthing lol.
