Seems I've lost that spark that made me come here and post alot. I've lost the spark to finish up my MAME cab and even touch or think about my other game machines. What should I do?

Pack everything on a few wooden crates and send them to me...

If you're talking about the Juno cab...well, it's almost done! I'm still on my first cab and hoping I get as close as you someday. ;)

You probably just need some encouragement and all. Try breaking down what's left to do, into smaller projects and just do a little at a time.

Look forward to seeing that awesome cab someday!  :applaud:

PS - What's going on with RetroFX Ghosts 'n Goblins? This is the first time I've seen it and it's amazing!

RayB:

heh. heheh.
I think it could be the weather. And the GF. I find myself doing lawn-care and planning out building a SHED.  ::)

It's not just the Juno. It's the MAME, the PacMan cocktail, the Galaga, the Missle Command... but the big thing is the damn basement. I want all the crap down there GONE! And I want a finished basement! *sigh* (no, the "crap" isn't the arcade stuff, it's everything else in the way of my arcade stuff).

I've also been watching Lost season one. Just a little TOO into that show!  ;D

PS: Psychopanda: RetroFX GnG was a project that died in 1999/2000 but got far enough that it was fully working with near-finished art and sound for level 1. The programmer/creator of the project keeps suggesting we release it finally, as is, but then nothing happens.  :)

Cameronj:

Don't worry about it. This stuff goes in cycles. I cycle in and out. Right now I am in the midst of a bartop cabinet project obsession. Whatever you do, don't get rid of your stuff! I did that recently and regret it. Don't worry about it. Go get other stuff done. The passion will come back.

Ah, that's too bad. It looks amazing. I'm not even a really big fan of the game but it made me want to go back and play it again. Now if only I can finish me own wee cab!  :P
