Updated art on my MAME cabinet
« on: March 04, 2003, 09:53:21 pm »
Inspired by Motorfish's splendid bezel art, I've updated the sideart, bezel art and control panel overlay on my MAME cabinet.  Here is the old version and the new version:

Thanks, Motorfish!

I bought the sideart from eBay... it was $69.00 after shipping; no doubt it would have cost me that much at least to have it printed, as it's printed on thick self-adhesive vinyl...

Hey SNAAKE,
I like to see a detailed picture of your bezel art.  I'd like to see what you are displaying for the player controls.  It looks great.
Thanks.

Star Trek fan? Why is your cabinet at warp?
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

As promised in other threads, I've put the source images up at http://mywebpages.comcast.net/celamantia/mamecab/bezel.htm (links are near the bottom of the page). To fit on my Web site, these have been converted to PNG's from the original Corel Photo-PAINT files, reduced to 256 color, and reduced to 150 DPI.  This was necessary to bring the images sizes down from 20 MB each to about 150K each.
