Star Wars Mame needs calibration ???
southpaw13:
I was under assumption that a Star Wars Yoke needs to be calibrated every time you start a game. All you have to do is go around in a circle (full motion) before you start a game. Works for me...
Luigi:
@kremmit: due to a ide-controller failure on my motherboard many of my pictures are lost. I will make new ones and explain how I made the Y-axis.
@southpaw: I tried to calibrate but it seems that it cannot be saved. When calibration is done the game resets and the "offset" is back.
It's only Star Wars, other games like Outrun oder Buck Rogers work perfectly.
horseboy:
It is definitely a star wars specific problem.

Apparently doing the calibration method that southpaw suggested each time you load up Star Wars is the only solution.

Finally I tried the mentioned procedure and it worked very fine :)
I moved the yoke in each direction and the crosshair was centered.
Playing is now much easier ;)
Thanks a lot!!

Not a real problem: it's called correct emulation.
I'd quote, but I'll just link instead.
