My arcade memories in high school in my small town were of laser disc games. Biggest line at our local arcade was by the Dragons Lair, Galaxy Ranger and Space Ace. I was a maniac for Galaxy Ranger though that was the coolest game ever. Compared to games on my Commodore64 it was the greatest. Now turning 36 this year and set up Daphne emulator and played Galaxy Ranger (ouch did i have a shock!) man perspectives sure do change! I dont remember it being so lame... but it still did give me flashbacks and made me feel younger. I guess thats the whole attraction with this hobby!

I remember standing in line watching other people play games alot. Maybe that's why I'm building my own arcade cab!?  :P

The fun thing about that though, is I got to try alot of "less popular" games. An old style Pharmacy (they even had Sodas, Malts, etc.) near us got Super Mario in and kids played that ALL day long. I never got the chance to, but I did get to play Matt Mania which is one of my favorite games to this day. It was sorta the Yie-Ar Kung Fu of wrestling.  :)
