I didn't see any on ebay sold or not so I'm not sure what you're looking at.  If someone paid $300 then they're really not to hip to arcarde parts as yes this is a nice spinner but you could almost get a whole slikstick control panel for that amount...almost! ;D

On the bottomless pit, I don't have any pictures and it's packed away right now, but I'll get some this Halloween and update the website and remind anyone in here who may be interested.  I did have it in the yard and had a little step for the short people to look into it.  Mine also has a CD player in it with my 8 year saying help me a few times over then it repeats for a nice effect.  The Talking Douglas Firs with the aux out which is what you need to input your own vocal track are indeed much harder to come by then they were a few years ago.  Here's what a lot of haunters have been going with lately: http://www.cowlacious.com/ScaryTerry.htm  It's a audio board that drives a hobby servo and that's what we use to move the mouth of the props we put them in.  I use it in my skull in the archway and I pump the Haunted Mansion vocals to it.  Granted the trees are a bit more realist due to the eyes and all, but selling on ebay nowadays for $50-100 makes them a bit out of reach for a lot of people.  I'm just glad I got the extra 4 I have back when they were going for $25+!   Some of the people in my haunt club did even better as they purchased them when they were cleared out back before the Halloween crowd really became aware of them and only paid $5!

Thanks for the info.  I bookmarked your page so I'm sure I'll be lurking around October.  I already tried to score a TDF on ebay and got blown out of the water.  Won't be buying any of those I guess.  Ouch.

EDIT:  Got one.  I just hope I don't get screwed by the 2 feedback seller and that it has the AUX input on there.

I don't think that's one with an aux jack in it.  Those were typically powered via wall outlet not batteries.  If it ends up not having the aux jack all is not lost, there was a hack done to these here:

I've never done this so don't know how well it works.  You could also add one of these motor mouth devices from hauntmaster which I have used on other pre-programmed talking props to make them say what I want and do recommend them highly!

This added cost is about what you'd pay for a TDF with aux out jack anyway so your not really spending anymore then you would have if you had to buy that model on the bay!

Nannuu:

No aux jack.  I was too stupid to ask in advance.  Thanks for the link, I couldn't find a hack for that to save my life a couple days ago.  Was planning on actually using it as a Xmas decoration.  Whew, saved again by BYOAC.
