So a 31KHz Arcade VGA Monitor it is then!  Any idea which is the best model to go for in terms of value for money and quality?

well...best value is EYGO.they are hard to find though..i got mine for $175 shiped..eygo dont exist anymore..dont buy the 27".the one from babylon new york.it will break..2 broke on me..so thats not an opition.i can help you get the 19" off who i bought it from.i can give you his # then call and see if he has any.i will look for the # if you decide on that one.he has 27" wg once for $400 shiped.right now he is out of stock.but he will get them sooner or later..you can get from wg for like $500 or so...good luck ;)
