That's weird...looks like LiLo was installed or something.  Were you using this as a Linux box in the past?

No, nothing like that.  This was given to me by the neighbor when I set up her new machine.  All she ever does is check email and she would have no idea how to do anything like setting up a dual boot system.  I wonder if Gateway has some sort of setup in there...they are using their own splash screens and status displays...

I think I'm hosed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hissy:

Weird that it's not using Lilo...that looks *just* like a horked Lilo install.

To be absolutely sure, go to the prompt and:

C:\ > fdisk /mbr

No can do...can't even get to the prompt...can't do anything at all.  Total lockup...FUBARed big time!    :hissy:
