Now that we got the wiki, why dont set up a list there of games that are suitible to play on an arcade-cab? Each game could be listed with a stick-mode(4/8), number of buttons and soforth.

I don

These may have already been mentioned but here goes.

99.99999% of action games for the Amiga used a simple 8-way with one fire button.  However, they are all horizontal (that I know of) so a vertical cab wouldn't look right...even for vertical shooters.  However, for good games, Shadow of the Beast I & II are awesome.  Hard as hell but awesome.  Lemings would be great for a trackball.

One of the best places to look is  http://lemonamiga.com

They have tons of reviews.

As cool as some Amiga games are, I think that the big thing to remember is that there are many good arcade shoot-em-ups, beat-em-ups and so on - the real trick is to select the games that the Amiga had that are unique and weren't matched in the arcade.

For my money it's games like:
- Sensible World of Soccer 96/97;
- Speedball 2;
- Lemmings (even if there was an arcade prototype);
- The Chaos Engine 2; and
- Cannon Fodder.

Hell, I don't even recall an arcade golf game quite like Sensible Golf. Stunt Car Racer is another one (although it's a shame it wouldn't work with analogue controllers).

To a certain degree I'm repeating myself, but that's the key to it all - not replicating what original arcade games do very well.
