Who knows, maybe he's looking to reproduce the almost non existant leaf switches for Wico joysticks and wants to know the exact materials that were used. Talk about non productive answers ::). Searcher7, if I find anything I'll let you know. Are you talking about the metal leaf or the actual contact ? I'm assuming it's the ladder. At any rate, I'll do some investigating. --- End quote --- Yeah, I've been working with these things on and off since the previous decade. I now take it for granted that there will be a little immaturity everywhere you go. I had used brass I got from a hobby show in my "Quick-Swap" control panel system, but I thought I may try to upgrade by making the contacts out of a better(the best) material. Thanks. Darren |

Cheers. --- End quote --- Yeah I started that thread. :-) But the answers were only guesses. :-( Darren |

Um, copper. This kind of question goes way beyond the scope of putting together a mame cabinet. But you could try salvaging the contacts off discarded relays, or check out Ponyboy's Leaf Switch Conversion thread. Maybe he can give you a lead on where he gets his contacts. --- Quote ---Umm, guys ? Searcher7 is hardly a "noob". He's been around here longer then both of you. The kinds of questions you ask make people suspect you have no idea what you're talking about. I suggest you buy Saint's book, read it through, and then ask if you still don't understand something. |
