| Searcher7:
Is anyone familiar with what leaf switches are made out of? I'm assuming that phosphor-Bronze may be a chief component, but would appreciate any other ideas. Thanks. Darren |

I made my leaf switches out of maple....but birch leaves work fine too :dizzy: |

Noobs. You kill an elephant and carve them out of ivory. ::) |

Umm, guys ? Searcher7 is hardly a "noob". He's been around here longer then both of you. He just doesn't post unless he truly needs help. Who knows, maybe he's looking to reproduce the almost non existant leaf switches for Wico joysticks and wants to know the exact materials that were used. Talk about non productive answers ::). Searcher7, if I find anything I'll let you know. Are you talking about the metal leaf or the actual contact ? I'm assuming it's the ladder. At any rate, I'll do some investigating. |

I was going to refer to a similar thread on RGVAC from 2003, but then I saw who started it ... ah well, we've exhausted my potential contribution. Cheers. |
