I just received some Sanwa parts from Ponyboy. The joystick has 5 pins for wires. However, I don't know what each pin goes with. What's ground, what's down ect... I searched around for this, but found no answers. I could take it apart and trace it, but I'd figure I'd ask here first. Does anyone know what pin goes with what? Thanks! |

if you wouldnt mind helping me out too. Also what is the yellow piece for? I have the 5 prong wire just dont know which wire goes where on my keywiz |

kiddk1, that yellow piece is a restrictor plate used exclusively on Seimitsu sticks - if someone sold this to you as a Sanwa, you've been lied to. The plate "restricts" the actual movement of the shaft: using the top circular hole will make it an 8-way, the middle groove will only allow 2-way movement, and the diamond shape at the bottom will make it a 4-way by making diagonals impossible. Sanwas and Seimitsus use the same pin-out and are interchangeable, so Orclord's post should apply to you as well. |
