Optical Encoders Entry
« on: April 26, 2006, 05:55:25 pm »
Hey - just checked out the Wiki finally, and it rocks!

I noticed there wasn't an entry for Mouse Hacks, so I put my two cents in. I removed the Cleanup tag, hopefully I didn't overstep my bounds there...

Just a request also: if you have hacked a mouse, and know the model hard drive you used, please enter it in there - I only have two currently; one Doug Hansen listed, and one I took apart to use...

Here's the link:  http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Optical_Encoders

Thanks!

When I think of 'Mouse Hack', I think of an interface hack- like using a mouse to hook up a Happ trackball. I changed your entry to 'Build Your Own Spinner', but I'm not sure if it belongs on the encoders page at all. Maybe it would be better suited to the Spinners page?

Yeah, I think you're right. However, it doesn't really fit in the spinners page as it stands. I'll move the info over there and modify the page a little to make it fit.
