MALA window focus problem on startup
« on: April 03, 2006, 05:52:44 pm »
I have Mala set to automatically start upon boot up.  Unfortunately windows starts up with the taskbar the focus and I either must click on Mala with a mouse, or use Alt-tab to bring Mala into focus.

Anybody know how to correct this?  Anyone know how to force a particular window (Mala) to always be on top

Thanks in advance!!

There is a checkbox in MaLa to hide the taskbar....

If you still have a problem let me know as it's probably an issue with MaLa Starting before Windows has loaded completely. Let me know as there are ways to correct this

I can't seem to find the option to hide the taskbar in Mala, although Mala seems to do it automatically for me, except when I set it to start when Windows boots up.  When I start Mala from the start menu, the taskbar disappears.

How can I change how fast Mala loads after windows starts up?

Try the new beta4 of MaLa. There is an option to use the splash screen as 'start up' timer.

Does mala work with LED-WIZ?  I seem to recall that there were instructions to use it with a home made led controller or something like that.

It does not support LedWiz (yet?) Maybe you could plead with SWINDUS to support it.

It does support MaLa Hardware that drives LED's and a LCD Display that I can highly recomend.

I get this occasionally on my system too.  It seems to happen when Windows update shows that damn bubble (I really need to turn that off), or when my virus scanner told me it updated (need to turn that off too).

Have you tried the lastet version?

Not yet.  My cab is at a point now where I hate to tweak it (ie, don't have the time).  I hate to feel the wrath of  my children!  :dizzy:

Hey.. I hear ya.  I have 2 kids who love the table. But a new set-up takes me no longer than (10 mins). But then again I am a MaLa beta testing addict "Must test latest version..must test latest version"....  :-)
