One of the women I work with wants a video game for her rec room. Currently I'm running out of space, so I proposed to her that if her husband (a handyman) builds a jukebox cab for me (I supply the material and plans) I'll sell her my VS Super Mario for $75. I've had this game for a while and I don't have the desire to restore it. It needs a coat of paint, a new coin door, and 2 new buttons. The buttons are there, but need to be replaced with nintendo buttons. The game works 100%. I had a failed cabinet build last year that I abandoned and I figure if someone with the know how and tools does the dirty work I'll be in better shape. Am I just giving away a game or is this a fair trade off. |

i dont really know how much that game is worth collector-wise and all, but if i were her i wouldnt accept that. basically you are making them do all the work and you are making $75. |

I don't know the value of the mario cab...but a more fair deal (to me anyway) would be If you build my jukebox I will give you the mario game. Check the price of having someone build you the cab and see how much they would charge. You would still come out ahead just giving the cab. Xam |

Her husband is probaly really old and has back and other pains... --- End quote --- Where, exactly, does he say any of this? That said, you'd be getting away with murder. If he's doing woodworking skills, and does a good job, you should GIVE them the game, PLUS money. |
