Z80 CPU for Rampage
« on: March 25, 2006, 11:32:37 pm »
I bought a Rampage Mother and Daughter (sound) board.

A tag on the board says "Good" and "Missing Z80b CPU".

They guy that sold it put a Z80a CPU in the board (failed to mention that on Ebay auction).

Do you happen to know of hand if there is any real functional difference between the CPUs?

Or where to get a Z80B?

Thanks!

Bob

Ok, the Z80A is 4 Mhz and the Z80B can run upto 6 Mhz.

Ordered a Z80B for $1.95 plus $4 shipping from futurlec.com
