Please send me a GBA PocketRom directory listing ....

I am hoping someone who has a complete set of Heaven Pocket Roms can send me their rom file directory listing.  I need a directory listing of all the Rom files which are prefixed by the related heaven pocket numbers used for the pocket Rom naming convention.

I went to the Heaven pocket rom site and their list does not help me since it does not list the "actual" names of the Rom filenames but rather only lists the name of the game.   I am looking for a list of the actual Rom file names please.

One way to do this is to open a command prompt window, go to the directory which has all the GBA pocket Romfiles and then simply capture the directory listing into a file by using the following command (ex: "dir > out.txt") ..... then send me the file.

I have all the GBA screenshots but their filenames do not match the same name as the associated Rom file.  The screenshot filenames I have only consist of the heaven pocket number only.   I would like a list of the actual Rom files which show the related numbering format so I can then rename all of my screenshots to share the name of the actual rom file......

Of course if someone would like to provide me with an already correctly named set of GBA screenshot files, then that would save me a lot of time.  If not, then a directory listing of the Rom files would suffice .... and I will start renaming the files manually.....

Thanks

Have you tried this?

http://www.gba-renamer.com/

It can put the numbers, country, correct name, etc.

I used it last night to sort the carts by country, then remove the numbers. (I use a supercard)

Thanks for the tip, however, I really do not have the patience to learn something new at this point.  It took me forever to obtain the full GBA Rom set and do not want to use an application in which I could mess something up.

I am really just looking for a GBA Rom directory listing in which I could simply cut-and-paste the filenames over .....   if you have one or know how to get one, that would be excellent help for me ...

So you would rather spend a hour or  2 renaming file, or spend 5 mins downloading this, telling it where the roms are, and then telling it where to put the renamed roms?

This program is very simple to use and updates to rom file listing online.

Also, make a backup of the files before doing any file operations to them.

You are correct .... so I downloaded the application, installed it, upgraded to the latest DAT file, set my "paths" to where my Rom files were as well as indicating where the renamed Rom files should be placed.   I clicked "GO" then got an application error congratulating me that I found a program error.

Basically, nothing happened.   Anyway, it was not a total lost ....I was able to list all the rom file names associated with the DAT file and cut-n-paste the list to my harddrive.  I am now cut-n-pasting manually .... oh well..... ::)
