| DaOld Man:
Dear Noob Drew: To shut down your computer, take hammer (available at Walmart) in right hand (or left hand if you are a lefty noobie.) Pull hammer back past the shoulder that is attached to the hand that is holding the hammer. Swing hammer towards the bright light, shut eyes and yell "Kammi Kazzie". When said hammer, being held by said hand, reaches said bright spot, you should see a much brighter light. (Do not go into the light!!!) Soon the smoke will pour from said bright spot and the power will cease. If power does not cease, get out the fire extinguisher, and dose said bright spot. Disclaimer: If all else fails, pull the cord (ref: long snaky thing that plugs into wall.) Another Disclaimer: shaking your joystick has been known to cause one to go blind and grow hair in palm of hand. Another Disclaimer: Using the above method to turn off your arcade may cause cancer, cuts, bruises, burns, PMS, uncontrollable block fires, stained upholstery, diarrhea, constipation, cramps, gout, receding hair line, nose and ear hair, epileptic fits, apathy, warts, liver spots, high blood pressure, cataracts, insomnia, premature shock therapy, stained under garments, and sore wrists. 1 out of 25 test monkeys did develop one or more of the above symptoms while being force fed 23 pounds of hedge apple extract and forced to play video games for 102 hours straight. Please consult your doctor before using this method to see if this method is right for you. |

Ya know 9 months ago everyone was commenting about the lack of action on the main board. Turns out the wiki made most of the easy questions easily available. I say we remove the wiki from the site. Oh yeah, what's teh best stick to use for my arcade, anyway? And should I use plexiglass or real glass if I'm using a 17" monitor in my 6 player arcade? |

Strip the leaves and excess branches for REAL gaming action! --- Quote --- And should I use plexiglass or real glass if I'm using a 17" monitor in my 6 player arcade? --- End quote --- Firstly, on a 6 player, if you're using eleventy buttons for each player, you'll get better gameplay with a monochrome 14" monitor. Secondly, plexiglass or real glass is a waste of money. On something like that, you'll get better performance if you use black fiberglass screening, like what they use on a storm door. |

:notworthy: First apologies in advance for the thread hi-jack. I'm a real noob, and I have a real noob question.... You see I was licking my stamps, and suddenly realised that they were self-adhesive ... Anyways, Drew, I'm a big fan. |
