Everything I sold, including an Optical Cordless Scroll Mouse with a $20 bill in the CD sleeve, has been shipped via UPS Ground on August 3rd, 2006. Tracking numbers can be provided on request.

FYI

I received my Telegames from USSEnterprise.. for the record I have delt with him as both a buyer and seller and he has been straight up with me both times. I will most likely do business with him again... Sure I would have liked faster shipping, but understanding that as a minor, he is limited on means of transportation and slow shipping could be expected and the fact that he isn't a business but an individual selling things, we got to remember that Real LifeTM can get in the way. I do plan on placing my reccomendation of him in the good sellers thread since my dealings with him went fine.

Thanks

add oceancube to the list.

false advertized his item and sold me a 2.6 psp even though I paid for a 1.5 version and the headphones was torn in half. Refused to give a refund. He shouldnt be allowed to do any further trades here.

if you wanna post anything about me, be my guest. I can have 100+ that will back me up with positive feedbacks. I've done business with countless # of people around here and I dont think I ever had any problem with anyone before. everything always went smooth !

BAD TRADER ALERT: NJDevils2006. Traded a pinball machine for a receiver with member NJDevils2006 and the receiver was broken. Until this trade I had never had a bad trader on this board so I made the mistake of taking his word that it worked. He said he had no idea it was broken and he would "make it right". Well, the repair cost me $162 and he now ignores my PM's and emails.

I would like to add KSKID to the bad sellers list.  Here is the thread to support this listing:

http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=50501.0

For the record, KSKID and I just had dealings and I have to say everything was great. He went above and beyond to help me for FREE. I just noticed this here and I thought I'd put my two cents in.

nullb0y, I had stated that whoever sends me payment first gets the spinner I wanted to sell it and move on.  I'm sorry man I'm not sure what to say but that certainly does not make me a bad seller, it was sold for the same price offered to you and everyone else on the forum.  What can I do man, I'm sorry you missed out.  I have lots of other stuff for sale if you're interested however.

Hey Bigsexy..

I remember that Lindholm guy because I also live in MN.. Awhile back I tried using him to get a complete set of Mame roms on 3 dvds.   I sent him the money via paypal and received nothing to this day...

Since it was only about $12, I just moved on...

Bad trader:  Peale

I've been more then patient waiting for any sign that he's going to send me our agreed upon lot.  This deal occured almost a month ago by now.  I actually screwed myself over with shipping, but out of saving face, completed the transaction and sent the part.  UPS has confirmed he's recieved the board.  I've sent numerous PM's and emails and suddenly since he's recieved the product, he quits checking these lines of communication.  Traders:  Do not trust anyone, even board moderators, and send off the product before receiving the money.  The excuse thus far is, "I don't check my PMs" and "I haven't had time to get to a post office."  I've offered to send a self address stamped envelope.  No reply.  Beware.

After an agreed upon price, he says he'll ship out a board to me.  Then he says that it cost more to send the package than we agreed upon.  To his benefit he says he'll take it for what we agreed upon, but I say that's not fair and state I'll compensate him fairly.

I've sent several PMs and email replies.  Your check has been sent.  I even sent more than I said I would.

It is true that I don't check my PMs every day.  It's also true that I live in rural Vermont and getting to the post office isn't the easiest thing.

But it's done.  Check your mail.  Both "E" and Post.

To be fair Peale,  how does that make him a bad trader?  He sent the package even though it cost more to ship than he anticipated (I know about this as it just happened to me) and asked for no additional compensation?

I am not trying to "stir the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---" so to speak,  but I just wonder how this makes him a bad trader?

Thank you for letting me know this.  This is the first time I've heard that you've taken actions, and frankly is all I wanted to hear is a 'heads up, it's been sent'.   That's big of you to agree to make up for shipping.  However, I haven't received any PM or email saying anything has been sent; so the shocking forum message technique did it's job.  When the check arrives my tune will change highly.

To clarify, I did ask for more.  Maybe that makes me in the wrong.  I figured the worst one could say was 'no', then it's my fault for not checkinging more thouroughly into this.  Regardless, it was shipped prior to me asking and if a check came for the agreed upon amount then awesome.

Appologies to everyone for having to be a 'squeeky wheel'.

-csa

Seeing politicians do this makes me sick.  Seeing it happen here just pisses me off.  It appears nobody else seemed to catch what you've done, so I highlighted it.

Show us when UPS confirmed that he actually GOT the board.

You admit to agreeing to a price almost a month ago.  You also admit to then asking for more than the agreed upon price.  This means you took time yourself between when you state this deal went down and when you then asked him for more money.

Given the fact that you wanted to change the original agreed-upon deal, I believe anybody would be leery at that point.  You agreeing to send the board out and have him send payment later was a decent thing for you to do, given the initial issue, but you SHOULD be able to see why someone would now be leery to have payment cross in the mail at this point.

So tell us when UPS says the package was received.  If this is something stupid like a week or so, then I have a definite problem with the way you chose to word your slam of a member who's sold many things to others without the problems you seem to have.  He's gone out of his way in the past to HAVE THINGS MADE for people in this hobby that NOBODY - not Randi, not Andy, not Christian, NOBODY -  offers.  That's not the sign of a bad trader, and your deal is anything BUT typical of the many dealings others have had with him, and it offends me to think you're gonna slam a well-respected and (other than you, evidently) EXCELLENT trader because of the way you handled this deal from the get-go.

Why this pisses me off is my darned-near definite guess that Peale's had more satisfactory deals with people on this forum than you've got posts, and someone who's just coming here with no idea what's what might get the idea based on how YOU chose to word this, and your odd ommission in the original post of when UPS said he got the package, that Peale has been anything OTHER than an EXCELLENT trader.

Say, are you going to send him BACK the excess money above and beyond the original agreement for trying to damage his reputation and the childish attempt to somehow "shame" him into paying you?

You admit to agreeing to a price almost a month ago.  You also admit to then asking for more than the agreed upon price.  This means you took time yourself between when you state this deal went down and when you then asked him for more money.

I asked for more money 10 minutes after arriving home from the UPS shipping station.  Note that I arrived home *without* the board and it was considered shipped at that point for the agreed upon price.  Thus, I asked for money after the shipping process occured.

If you are going to trade, on this board or anywhere, you can't just stop communicating period.  The deal went down over ArcadeControls.com private messages, which stopped after I gave him the UPS shipping number.  I never received any email nor PM of him ever saying the check was sent.  He claims to have emailed me, I have nothing in my spambox.  I can only assume he sent it either to the wrong address or not at all.

The good news is that the check arrived today in the mail.  The bad news is that I basically gave my board away for free.  That's buisness, it's done.  I am not happy with the lack of communication, and have every right to feel that I am obligated to notificaiton that monies have been sent.  I gave a ups number, I expect courtesy in return.

You my be pissed, that's fine.  After how many PM's unanswered would you say is a good number to send off before resorting to this?  All I know is that my answer came 1 day after this posted, so therefore it suceeded in communicating.

I'm cool with everything that happened, and I don't hate Peale, and hopefully the same is said about myself.  I can say that this deal lacked superior customer service in terms of communication.  In the future, I also know that I'll be including shipping in my any deal I should send.

I guess it's time I posted my story about Nitewalker ... this is going to run long.

Last year, I needed three custom sticks built. After fielding several offers from the trading forum, I decided to go with Nitewalker because of his quick turnaround time and low price. While he was still learning the stick building trade, I had confidence based on his work that he would indeed be able to complete the work and get the items to me by the time I needed them. This transaction worked out well, he built them fast and for what it's worth, all three still work to this day.

Now we move onto the not so great part. Shortly after the successful stick build, I came into some money and decided to embark on a new kind of project, a control panel/supergun that would be a large two player panel with the CPS2 board and everything inside. Of course, seeing as our first transaction had went so well and he expressed interest in it as well, on May 19,2006, I paid him $100.00 to start the project and get parts together.

Time went by with little to no progress, seeing as I knew it was a new style build for him, I didn't want to rush him, I figured he would be finished when he would be finished and that was it. I finally get a progress picture, it's the top panel, a large piece of MDF with holes drilled in it. Upon seeing this progress, as we agreed, I forwarded him another $100.00 to him on June 7, 2006.

So let's keep track, to date $200.00 spent.

Knowing I couldn't have a great setup like this with no art, I contacted DJ-Van and had him make a custom piece of stick art for this panel that was almost four and a half feet in size. Because of the scope and time involved, I paid him $60. Of course, I needed to get the boards ready for this project, so I purchased them from ebay for about $100.00 shipped. A set of Capcom A+B boards. After having them sent to Nitewalker, he was going to forward them out to Razool for Phoenixing. This is where the long no contact periods began. I would go a week or two with no update or contact at all. PM's and emails begun to go unanswered and there was no response.

Total of $360.00 spent

Out of the blue one day, I get a message that he fell on some hard times but he is still going to complete the project at his cost. After so long of not hearing from him, I figure this is pretty fair and decide to wait it out. Again, long periods of no contact begin before I finally just tell him that I want my money and boards back. After getting no response from this, I decide to go the police route.

I send him a PM mentioning that I will contact the police if I don't hear from him by the next day. Ten minutes later I get a reply telling me that he will send me back the boards, sticks, buttons, wiring harnesses he bought, control panel progress he made and $200. After another month of pestering him, I finally got my CPS2 Boards back (Missing parts that had been there when it was sent to him) and the wiring harnesses. When I asked where the sticks and buttons were, I was told he 'ended up needing them'. I was able to recover some of my money from selling the now Phoenixed boards but not much, I was still very much in the negative.

As it stands, I'm still owed the control panel progress and $200.00. I'm not holding my breath on seeing either anytime soon. I got an email from him last week saying he was going to pay me soon, but I'm sure it's just more BS from someone whose best practice is making excuses.

I understand life happens, changes happen and we all have to adjust but it's been nearly a year and there's no excuse for not contacting me, it wouldn't have taken more than a minute or two to send a PM.

If you're looking for information on him, here's what I was able to find on the web.

That is his fathers address, perhaps by contacting him, I might have more luck getting my money and panel work back.

Here's the last address I have from John ...

I'd like to add Antonio Botello to the list. username eastbayarb/ARB

I posted details here on his selling ad: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=63261.0
Sold me a cab which he clearly states as only needing adjustment when it actually had all sorts of stuff broken on the tube.  He refuses to give me any kind of partial refund.

Although the transaction was communicated on another forum, I'd like to add horseboy to the list of bad traders. He has received an older laptop that I had to offer and has failed to send me the money. Since he was a member here and at the other forum I frequent, I had no problems cross shipping the transaction, but sadly I guess I should have waited for payment first. I have tried contacting him several times about getting paid and since then he has become inactive in both forums.

He posted a thread in B/S/T selling a Guncon2 for $25 shipped.  We agreed on the transaction and payment was sent via Paypal immediately.  He had payment within 10 minutes of the PM's being sent.  This was on Sept 27, 2007.

In the span of 4 weeks, I received emails stating that it had been shipped, had not been shipped, was about to be shipped.  I finally escalated this to a dispute/claim on Paypal.

He also posted this quote on 10/17/07.

sorry about this but i have to make this public. but it has come to my attention that quite a few people have not gotten their stuff yet.

if you have purchased anything from in the last few weeks please email me at..

whines83_1@netzero.com

i have lost the password to my paypal account an since i have had multiple accounts with my prepaid CC's paypal is not being very helpful with the situation.

please tell me what you purchased and when you paid for it.

or you can you can just email me your details i have sold so much stuff i have gotten a few of them sent to the wrong address's an or returned to me.

i would rather you email me what you bought or just post it here.

hoping to hear from you guys ASAP!!

Until he responds, sends funds back, or I receive the item, I can not think this is anything more than a scam.

EDIT:  I got $2.75 of the $25.00 that was sent to him, back via the Paypal dispute.

Guy's a bad seller and a time waster.  Was in contact with him for nearly a month because of horribly bad communication skills and still sold to someone else from under me. Claims he wants money up front for commitment, but still finds time to build superguns without payment. Thinks people should just send money without knowing what their purchasing and offers to 'fix' the problem by sending something he doesn't have or something you might not want. PM me for any details, or view this thread: click me

I think its a great testament to this board that this thread goes months upon months without new messages. Lack of communication can easily make someone  a bad seller after you've sent them money, but what have you actually lost?

Sorry you didn't get what you wanted, but this message actually seems out of place to me after reading your linked thread.

What I think is funny is that the bad trader list is not sticky.  You'd think the list of people to avoid would be a sticky, but it's not.

Corrected.  I think it was originally but when seller ratings was implemented it became outdated.

Ebay ID - cjvendinggames

Email - kentuckybred@hotmail.com

Names - Casey Thompson Mays
            - Tony M Wash

Location - <<No addresses please>> --- saint
                 Nicholasville KY 40356

These guys are total liars and thieves. This started with a supposedly NOS Tron shroud. They had gotten a negative on it from a previous Ebay sale for selling it, and never sendign it. I saw it on the re-post and asked about it. Was told it was NOS, but the pictures were very tiny and did not (conveniently) show the areas that would make it known if it was used or not. The seller pulled the auction to hold it for me (I didn't ask for him to do that..the guy obviously has a problem with fees or paying out any money) and I asked for more pictures on SPECIFIC areas like the front lip, and asked SPECIFICALLY if there were things like cigarette burns. Weeks pass and nothing..just excuses when I email. One day I notice the shroud is back up on Ebay, with new pics (larger, but still hiding the front lip area of the shroud), and a new description saying it was definitely NOS, and had no cigarette burns as he was being asked that a lot blah blah.. I emailed and asked wtf..why did he put up a new auction when I was sitting here waiting for something so simple like more pictures.. I got no reply, but noticed the auction all of a sudden got pulled by the seller again.. I thought he probably sold it to someone else and just forgot about it. But, the seller emails me, then phones and we discuss it..says there are no burns, its definitely new..etc..and that he pulled it for me.
So I decide to take a chance on it against my better judgement.  I email the guy (Casey, who is acting as the seller for his computer challenged buddy Tony) and ask for specific wrapping/packaging materials since this is a pretty rare find. I offer to pay more for the materials. I get a Paypal request about 5 minutes later askign for 30$ more for the packaging materials on top of the cost of item, and shipping. I wondered how they came up with that so fast, but it seemed about right to what I had asked for...bubble wrap..etc.. Weeks pass.. I email the guy and ask what is up.. get a story about Tony on vacation, his house is locked and the shroud is boxed and ready to go there... excuses.. about a week later, get a tracking number from usps. Total time is almost exactly a month.. just long enough to be out of reach of Paypal.. not that they care anyways.. you can only claim if you get an empty box, or nothing at all.. not a misrepresented item..
When I got the box..it was in a 'very' flimsy used box. Opened it up, and there are chunks of foam all over the place..what these two morons did was charge me extra for packaging materials, then take, literally, foam from other packing like dvd players..etc..and break that into pieces, and shove into the box around the shroud. In fact not ONE new piece of material was in that box...so much for paying extra.. Oh well, seemed to have made it ok even though I was steamed at getting ripped off on that.. but I pulled out the shroud and it was as I had feared..OBVIOUSLY used..the front lip was dirty, and had a strip running down it where the metal hold down bracket goes..any moron could see that.. and on the left side..MANY cigarette burns.. I emailed the guys back with pictures I took that clearly showed those areas..something they could have done in 2 seconds, but didn't. I also asked about the packing materials and where the 30$ went for that.. got nothing but excuses. These idiots even after my pictures still stuck by the idea that this was new and that they should not refund because I was 'just not happy with the item' like I had just decided I didn't want it... not the fact they had plainly ripped me off by lying. After MULTIPLE emails and threats, Casey finally relented a bit and stated he would take it back... but only if I paid for shipping to return it to him. I explained this was like buying something brand new on Amazon, then getting the box, opening it up,  and finding a used item in the box instead... and Amazon saying you had to pay to send it back.. ridiculous. After that, no further replies.. They expect me to pay to send it back, and trust they will refund me. These two are complete liars, and blatant thieves.
Avoid these liars at all costs!
