It doesn't get any more "original" than using an original button. Lol |

I have a single mains switch which powers all electronics: PC, Monitor, amplifier, marquee lighting. The PC is setup to start on power up in the BIOS. This launches Windows (8) and Hyperspin. Exiting Hyperspin shuts down windows after which I can use the power switch to power the whole cab down. |

@EMDB that is pretty cool. Do you have a quick wiring diagram? I need the same thing for some arcade cabinets I have (gutted conversions that I'm brainstorming how to run MAME on them). They all have the Isolation Transformer for the CRT and original power bricks, just need to tie in my computer to the existing power switch on the cabinet. I guess I could try to tie in the computer power strip to the circuit with the main power switch and cabinet interlock switches (coin door and back cabinet interlock switches). |
