Hi, no, I'm not using a video amp. I searched in mame.ini but I couldn't find anything related to brightness. I have a pot to control brightness - it can eliminate the bleeding but the image becomes too dark. I changed the brightness settings in the mame32.ini file. With mame32 the bleeding has been eliminated. Can I adjust the brightness for each game without using the pot? Final Fight was too bright with my sf2ce setting. Adjusting the pot for each game is irritating. thanks |

Spottydog - Sounds to me like you may wish to check out AdvanceMame. It allows very detailed setting of the monitor refresh settings, for general resolution categories, for rom-specific choices, etc. It's been a long time since I used it, so I can't vouch for what has happened to it lately, but I see no reason this wouldn't fix all of your issues: http://advancemame.sourceforge.net/readme.html Chemame |
