Template for alternative table of contents
« on: March 03, 2006, 09:27:42 am »
I added a template:
Code: [Select]
{{TOCabc}}

Basically is replaces the table of contents with a A B C D E F G H ... thing. I cleaned up the glossary page a bit, it uses the new template. The template could also be used if we plan to make lists of specific arcade games(*) or any other alphabetical ordered list.

Also, keep in mind that Mediawiki can use categories to automatically create lists of articles. So if the list of arcade games consisted of just links to articles with games, it is better to use a category than a page with manually added entries.

(*)I don't suggest we should include a list of arcade games (it's not a KLOV replacement is it?) but I just mention it as an example.
