I wasn't aware of the BYOAC wiki project! Since I'm a long time editor on Wikipedia, I'll see what I can contribute here. In the mean time I added a link (in the external links section) from MAME arcade cabinet on Wikipedia (hey, that cab looks familiar! ;) )

I was wondering if someone might know how I could get plans for the cabinet used at the wiki address of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAME_arcade_cabinet.  It is the "CAUGHT IN A TIMEZONE" cabinet.  Looks like a good all around design to me.

Thank you.

That page needs to change.  I don't think is should be called a MAME cabinet.  It should be called an emulation cabinet since it can be used for more than just mame.  If anyone is a user there could you bring the discussion up?

It's Felsir's cab, and he's a user at Wikipedia.

I'm all for changing the terminology to "emulation cab", but let's face it, it's gonna be hard to convince the 1000's of guys that already say "MAME cab".  And with all the "MAME cab" references on the internet, that's gonna be the search term of choice for Wikipedia.  I guess a re-direct could handle that, but I wonder if making the change is gonna be like trying to turn the tide with a teaspoon.

Yup, it's my cab, I added pictures to "spice up" the page a while ago. It is based on the centipede cabinet. The dimensions for that cab can be found on the arcade controls website.

I agree that the name could be better, I did not start that article and I do not have the admin-rights to move it. I will mention it on the talk page and see what happens.

You can move artichle to a empty one (it must not exists) (the move button), but you can not delete that. I could move a article as well, but can remember wich one I did.

You can doing it here, but maybe not in the wikipedia? If on that you talking about?
