Which router bits do I need?
leapinlew:
Hey guys - I am in need of a couple bits. Could someone confirm if these are the bits I need:
1st bit is intended to be used to trim the plexiglass/lexan.

If yes - does the cutting length matter between a 1" and a bigger size? The Plexi will probably only be 1/8
2nd bit is inteded to cut the 1/16th in slot for the t-molding

My router accepts 1/2" shank.
Thanks, I appreicate the help. I'm very much a rookie with this woodworking.

The first one is fine Lew..... But I can't see a slot cutter on the second list that has a 1/16 cut height. The right sort of cutter, just not the right thickness of cut.
Personally I use a 16th" biscuit cutter.... They're used for cutting a slot to take a glue in jointing biscuit in furnature making.

First bit good - thanks.
As for the second bit - I was thinking in the lower table, top right under 1/2" shank is set #7641
?

Yes, that should do the job.
