Complete nonworking cinematronics star castle upright project in kansas, game is complete, currently not working., would make a great project or nice beginning for a mame, $150.00 must make arrangements to pickup or have shippped.

Atari Battlezone Upright, missing monitor and main pcb/logic boards, everything else is there, cabinet is in really nice shape, no water damage, has the viewfinder, control panel is nice. $150.00 must make arrangements to pickup or have shipped.

or  $250.00 cash for the pair.

Pictures of the Battlezone, besides no monitor, and main pcb boards, it will also be missing all the locks and keys as well, cabinet is in really nice shape, the thing thats in worse shape overall is the wooden step (stored inside the game)

It's the whole, "Holy crap!  I'm interested!"  Then reality sets in.  Either they figured they don't have the room, the wife would kill, or the money's too tight.  Heck, I had 4 19" plywood cabs I couldn't even GIVE away.  I had one person say they were interested, but then when they found out it wasn't a 25" cab they didn't want it.  Post 'em up on the KLOV forums or eBay.  There may be some peeps out there with all the guts to those cabs that need one.

It's never a waste of time to take pictures of somthing you are selling or representing. Things sell better when people can see the condition. I was out as soon as I figured out that buying a cab while moving from one house to another is a really bad idea.

You were asking $150 SIGHT UNSEEN for an item that REQUIRES the ability to see what you're buying to even have a CLUE if it's worthwhile.

Are you that dense that you think you "wasted time" taking pictures?  Do you want a cookie or $5 for each photo you "slaved and toiled" to take?

NOT posting a pic is a good way to get hosed or even worse, waste the time of the BUYER.  If you think your time as a SELLER is so valuable, you obviously aren't a very GOOD seller, since anyone worth their salt knows the more info you give a buyer, the more likely that when someone finally DOES show interest in exchanging those little pieces of green paper with all the squigglies on them for your merchandise, the deal will go smoothly for both parties and both sides will be happy with the transaction, boosting your credibility and making future sales more likely to happen.

If you want to be taken seriously with a sale listing, you'll post pics until you're an established seller around here.  Not just once or twice, but EVERY time.

Lastly, you sound angry about putting forth even THAT little amount of effort in order to sell your cab.  If this upsets you, perhaps sales isn't your thing.  Get rid of them in some other fashion and leave the sales to people better suited to it.

Nobody has to buy your cabs, and you didn't have to go to all the "trouble" of taking pics.

Plus, don't sell your stuff in an imaginary state like Kansas.  If you were selling in New England there is a good chance I would have bought them both.

REVISED PRICING, ADDED AN ADDITIONAL GAME ALL THREE FOR $200.00 CASH
« Reply #21 on: March 12, 2006, 01:27:05 pm »
Ok,

i have the two games above, unfortunately though either my wife or my kid neither one is fessing up backed something into the front of the star castle in the garage, cracked the particle board on the very front in two places, repairable, but cracked. did not hurt the sides, did not damage the coin door or the control panel..

also to add to the lot i have a cocktail sytle pong game, its a round cocktail sit around type game, with round top, with a monitor in the middle and 4 pong like spinner controls around the outside, the game is complete, nonworking, willing to throw it in on the deal as well as to lower the price on the other two games in the first post., to get the prices the buyer must take all three games, if you you just want the guts, must come and part out yourself, i can dispose of the cabinets.

Battlezone, includes everything in pictures, DOES NOT include the
xy monitor or the main pcb boards, everything else is there.
$125.00 FIRM

Cinemtronics Star Castle, now has two cracks in the particle board
on front of the game, game is complete, nonworking $75.00 FIRM

Sit down, cocktail style pong game, dont think its an actual pong, but
a variant of one, nice shape, non working, complete. FREE with the purchase of the above two games

All three $200.00 Cash, can take pictures if the pong game, just
let me know.

need to move the games, need the space.

Here are the pictures of the pong game, dont know who the manufacture is, but it did play pong, i would prefer someone take me up on my generous offer, but if i dont get any takers, will consider offers on individual games, also note  the tabletop is not perfectly round, its oval. Base is round though.  Also if there is any interest i have a completely gutted Nintento VS Cocktail (Red Tent) cabinet, that i would throw in for free also, but its just a bare shell with legs on it, nothing more.

Would be willing to do some trading also, would like either a Taito Ice Cold Beer or Zeke's Peak complete, no water damage.

Are you even AWARE of how the buying/selling process goes?  You're quite rude for saying that someone's looking for "handouts" by e-mailing you an offer lower than your asking price!

Do you think NO ONE IN THE HISTORY OF SELLING has EVER taken less than their asking price?  How would they POSSIBLY know you WOULDN'T, unless they sent you a counter-offer?

You play as if you're quite ignorant of how this process works, and VERY rude to potential customers who may have simply been "feeling you out".  Perhaps you ought to save your whining for more people who show interest and then "back out" on you ::)  Maybe your asshat attitude shows people you're not someone to be trusted or dealt with.

I'm in Oklahoma, which is close enough to get me interested. Your asking price seems fair, which gets me more interested. The way you have conducted this thread leads me to believe that I might arrive only to find you have changed your mind or sold them to someone else before I get there, which totally deflated the "interested" bubble.

And, for the record - I never offer asking price. I AWAYS offer at a lower price. I consider the asking price as a general guideline...
