if not avi files is another format able to play? Atomic is becoming my dream entertainment FE only a few things missing that I would love to see. GBA 2600 PS1 ( not really a must... I have a modded PS1 and PS2 ) I think you allready have a mp3 player... need to check more into it But My favorite movie's on Hard drive with my console PC would be really great with the same FE. |

Hi, For modules you ask they are coming soon. Concerning Video. Atomic include a Video JukeBox. It can play all format that can play Mediaplayer . (to try if your media player can play the video , just run mplayer2.exe that is in your windows or windows\system32 folder). If you have the right codecs , your video will be played fullscreen without problems. Codecs pack can be found on web. Atomic can play XVID video that way , if used has Video Jukebox. (not snap). Now, if you want use VIDEO SNAP. I support all AVI format as soon as the codec is here. But i have problem with the XVID avi format. After investigation i found the issue. The XVID codec is not complete! One function is not implemented , and that is a function i use. for video snap. >:( But i have found a work around. By removing the XVID codec and using another codec. To remove the XVID codec , go to control panel -> sound and Multimedia -> Hardware Tab ->select Video codec in the list -> click properties -> Properties tab -> Select "XVID MP4 Video codec" -> Click remove. Then you can try the video snap in Atomic. If the video displays it is ok, it not, it is because you don't have a compatible codec already installed. So try to find and install this codec : DSH 4CC DIVX DSH Friendly Name DivX Decoder Filter DSH Driver or Wrapper H:\WINDOWS\System32\divxdec.ax DSH DirectShow CLSID 4cc: divx {78766964-0000-0010-8000-00AA00389B71} FIL File Description DivX |
