Does Visual Pinball edit the registry when installed?
(1/1)

I was wondering whether I could install Visual Pinball and then copy everything to a DVD, then go to a new computer and paste all files/directories from the DVD and have Visual Pinball work.

or

must I "install" the Visual Pinball application on the new computer and then paste all files/directories from the DVD and have Visual Pinball work?
Howard_Casto:
Visual pinball modifies the registery to associate itself with vpt files and to add the "play" option to the context menu.

Vp MUST be installed to work properly.
