Mortal Kombat II Marquee - Restoration and advice
« on: October 01, 2017, 03:21:10 am »
So no good scans of the MK II marquee seem to exist so I started a new one.

Can someone with an original let me know which colour is closest ?Most photos I can find are either very old or of very faded marquees. The scan which is available is rather terrible and has no detail, it's as if someone hit contrast to 10000% to hide things rather than fix things

Thanks to anyone who can help

I would help but you watermarked the ever loving ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- out of them.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Because they are unfinished and not ready to share. I don't need help with the artwork itself but just a reference as to how the original looks, there are no decent pics of the original Marquee, sorry if that wasn't clear. If you want wanted the original file you could have simply asked

Don't want or need the file, point was, you cant get a good look at the colors because of the immense "water mark".

It's hard to tell just by looking at your picture. I guess not everyone here has a color calibrated monitor and, even if they had, when you print it the printer can still give you a different result... so, my recommendation is:

It looks amazing either one, don't stress over it - I know I've learned this lesson  :applaud: great job so far
