GroovyGameGear site seems to be working better...(I think it's fixed.. for now)
RandyT:
Apologies to those who have been suffering with it since last night. We ditched our other provider to try to get the speed up to something more reasonable. We were seeing minimum 6-second response times to every click, so GoDaddy ......went.
So there were probably a few nameservers that weren't updated by this morning and to top it off, the new service had some technical problems resulting in LONG query times (of course, right after I sign up.)
But I complained and it's now pretty snappy. If you have a minute and want to give it a spin, please let me know what you think of the current performance.
On a side note, I've started putting the doc sheets up, in PDF format, for the interface products so they can be downloaded. This will be done by the end of the day.
Thanks for your patience.

Randy, is there any way you can create a smaller image for your product listings that is not the large, large image just resized? I've noticed it always takes a bit of time for each image to draw itself, even on broadband. I do see that it is the same full-screen image for everything (http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/images/tmgrn.jpg for example). Just a question. I'm seeing a 2-4 seconds wait per screen before the page is served to me (on DSL).
Looks great, though. Keep up the good work!

The response time is much, much faster than a few days ago when I was looking for stuff. Wise decision to switch providers. Its going to make it easier on us to buy stuff from you! ;D

Thanks for the suggestion. That's also on my "to-do" list. It's one of the things the admin app doesn't help you do easily, so it's been neglected. Should be easy enough to do a batch conversion, once I figure out where they go ;)

Good. I was hoping that would be the case. If you don't deal with this kind of stuff all the time, it's a lot of work. I hope we'll be with this provider for a while.
Thanks,
RandyT

Glad to see you got it fixed. You seemed suprised when I e-mailed you telling you it was so slow. The important part is I was able to place my order.
Thanks again!
