| t-molding Slot cutter with or without bearing? |

| jberries:
Hello I want to put t-molding on my cabinet, but don't know a lot about routing. Is it necessary to have a bearing on the router bit? Here are the 2 bits I am looking at (one has a bearing the other doesn't) http://www.linbide.com/product.php?sid=3772&pid=107&rid=15431&action=add http://www.linbide.com/product.php?sid=29167&pid=106&rid=19912&action=add I am looking at the 1st one on both pages, the 1/16" bit. Any thoughts? Many thanks |

You need the one with the bearing. The other is designed for use with a table fence that controls the depth of the cut and keeps the edge of the board from coming into contact with the spinning arbor. RandyT |

I just got one with the bearing, and it works great. Took no time at all to do the job. Just make sure your cutting the right direction. |
