Thanks for the discount! I'm definitely going to have to subscribe this month.

Anyone have a summary of what types of articles and features are usually found in this magazine? Does it specifically talk about MAME and Emulators? Or does it specifically NOT talk about Mame and emulators and only real systems?
Just a general overview would be great for those of us new to the community.

It has been more geared towards pins and jukes, with some vid content. I haven't seen any emulator content to date, but you may want to look at this thread on RGVAC where Kevin talks about the future now that RetroBlast has acquired GameRoom Magazine.
You may also want to visit the site and look at some sample articles. Don't miss the Gameroom Gallery.
And finally, while you're at it, be sure to visit RetroBlast.
Cheers.

Wow, Cheffo, thanks for that comprehensive post!
GameRoom has primarily been about coin-op collecting, and that focus will continue. However, even within that "restriction" there is an awful lot of wiggle-room for subjects to cover. I definitely plan on covering arcade emulation - not as much as some here would hope, perhaps, but it will be coming up soon.
I've got a new columnist, David Ellis, who will be writing "The WayBack Machine," a monthly look at pivotal moments in videogaming history. David wrote the "Official Price Guide to Classic Video Games : Console, Arcade, and Handheld Games" (which is reviewed on RetroBlast, btw).
I'm going to be adding more articles about vids, including vid restoration and repair. More pin coverage as well, especially modern (1990-today) pins.
There will still be coverage of jukes, slots, and such. Perhaps not as much as before, but I'm not phasing out anything.
I'm definitely excited about the future of the magazine, and am open to all suggestions about what you'd like to see in future issues.
