those orange ones are great for ps2 but not for mame. They have some sort of rolling-x problem. You can read about rolling-x on the guncon2 driver sites. The aftermarket guns seem to work much better and do not suffer from the rolling-x problem. I have 2, one orange and one mission lightgun, the original guncon2 (orange) works like crap for mame. The crosshairs are always off from where you shoot the screen. I got my mission gun on ebay for about 25 dollars (including shipping) and it works well for most games in mame. I haven't tried it with other emulators. Do a search about the guncon2 here and you'll find a bunch of info on what guns are good and which are bad. |
