I would be selling a board with a 40 pin IDE header and terminal strips running along the side for 10 bucks USD. The board will be just some plain circuit board with the green coating on it (epoxy soldermask), no white writing on it (silkscreening) since it adds to the price and it also wont help at all since its premade and since the configuration of the pins will come on a different sheet because it supports many modules. If I can get more of the terminal blocks for cheaper, I *might* lower the price, it really depends on the costs to me... since Im not really out to make a profit... although a buck a board for all the solderring wouldnt hurt ;) |

Just contacted the manufacturer to see if he's got any more bags of terminal strips. If each board uses 13 strips, then thats only like 1.75 or so for the amount of terminal strips I use. The board will only come out to about 4 dollars or so, due to the soldermasking and setup fees. The IDE header should be fairly cheap; I orderred some and forgot how much they cost, Ill look soon. Shipping of all materials adds on another .75 - 1.00 per board, so it might come up just about right. |

Despite the fact that I have no current use for this, I'd still buy a few to have on hand for future projects. Looks like a great item to me. -S |

I'd buy one for sure, maybe more. |
